Organs, one for all, all for one

Picture
A flower is the specific organ enabled to meet its function by all the others - roots, leaves, and branches. There aren't any pieces of cells that can keep intactly functioning without the rest of cells in our body. Organs are more interdependent for their normal functions and sharing impacts from a damage in an organ more seriously than we imagine.

Please stop thinking of only your liver if you have a liver issue. It can be from your heart, intestines, lungs, brain, bladder, or even a tiny scar on your forearms.

Thare are 12 organs in Asian medicine(sometimes 11 depending on the view of point on Three burners) - Heart, Spleen, Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, Small intestine, Pericardium, Three burners, Stomach, Large intestine, Urinary bladder, and Gall bladder. They are actually not anatomical organs, but collective functions.
